How can I obtain a copy of the license file or activation code for my subscription?

For most products, you can view your activation code directly in your Avast Account when you log in with the email address you used to make your purchase. For Avast Antivirus, you can also request a copy of your license file by providing the email address you used to make the purchase. To activate Avast Antivirus with a license file, refer to the following article:

For other products, contact Avast Support and provide your name and order number so that we can identify your order.

Can I transfer my Avast subscription to a different device?

Yes. To transfer your Avast subscription from one device to another, you need to uninstall all connected products from the previous device, then install and activate all connected products on the alternative device. For detailed instructions on transferring your subscription, select your Avast product below:

To transfer an Avast AntiTrack or Avast Driver Updater subscription to another device, or if you are unable to transfer your subscription to another device, contact Avast Support.

  2. Read and ensure you understand the Avast Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  3. If you still want to request a refund, contact Avast Support and include a screenshot of your most recent order confirmation email.
