Install Avast SecureLine VPN
You do not need to follow these installation instructions if you use Avast Antivirus on your PC because Avast SecureLine VPN is already installed as a program component.
- Click the button below to download the Avast SecureLine VPN setup file, and save it to a familiar location on your PC (by default, downloaded files are saved to your Downloads folder).
Download Avast SecureLine VPN for Windows - Right-click the downloaded setup file
avast_vpn_online_setup.exe, and select Run as administrator from the context menu.

- To change the default setup language, click the current language in the top-right corner of the screen and select your preferred language. Then, click Install.
- Wait while setup installs Avast SecureLine VPN on your PC. SecureLine VPN opens automatically after installation.
- Click Continue twice to go through the tutorial, then click Get started.
- Click the red (OFF) slider to connect to Avast SecureLine VPN servers.
- Select one of the options below:
- Start free trial: Start a free trial to access Avast SecureLine VPN for a limited time period. You are prompted to enter payment details, but you will not be charged until the trial subscription ends. If you do not want to continue using Avast SecureLine VPN after the free trial expires, you need to cancel the trial subscription.
- Buy now: Follow the on-screen instructions to purchase an Avast SecureLine VPN subscription.

- Click Continue to confirm that you have read the Software License Agreement, then click Agree to confirm that you accept the terms.
- Click Install to proceed with the default installation, or click Change Install Location... or Customize if you want to make changes to the default setup.
- Enter the password that you use when you start your Mac, then click Install Software.
- Wait while setup installs Avast SecureLine VPN on your Mac, then click Close. SecureLine VPN opens automatically after installation.

Go to Google Play Store - Tap Install to download and install the app. When installation is complete, tap Open.
- Tap Get started to confirm that you accept Avast's License Agreement and Privacy Policy, then tap Next to go through the tutorial.
- Select one of the following options:

Troubleshooting
If you experience any installation issues:
- Ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements and your Windows is up-to-date.
- Windows 11 except Mixed Reality and IoT Edition; Windows 10 except Mobile and IoT Edition (32 or 64-bit); Windows 8/8.1 except RT and Starter Edition (32 or 64-bit); Windows 7 SP1 or later, any Edition (32 or 64-bit)
- Windows fully compatible PC with Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 64 processor or above (must support SSE3 instructions); ARM-based devices are not supported
- Advanced features, like Smart VPN and improved connection method are available for Windows 11 and Windows 10
- 256 MB RAM or above
- 300 MB free space on the hard disk
- Internet connection to download, activate, and use the VPN service
- Optimal standard screen resolution no less than 1024 x 768 pixels is recommended
