Activating Avast Ultimate (Single-Device)

Avast Ultimate (Single-Device) is a subscription bundle that includes the following products:

  • Avast Premium Security
  • Avast Cleanup Premium
  • Avast SecureLine VPN

After purchasing Avast Ultimate (Single-Device), you need to install and activate the products using a valid activation code or your Avast Account.

Activation Code

To activate Avast Ultimate on your Windows PC using an activation code:

  1. Open Avast Premium Security, then click Menu and select My Subscriptions.
  2. Click Enter a valid activation code.
  3. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then click Enter.
  4. Click Activate & Install next to Avast Cleanup and Avast SecureLine VPN.
  5. Avast Cleanup Premium and Avast SecureLine VPN start installing.
  6. If prompted, click Yes to restart your computer.
  7. Your Avast Ultimate subscription is now active. You can check your subscription details on the My Subscriptions screen in Avast Premium Security.

Activate Avast Ultimate

To activate Avast Ultimate on your Mac:

  1. Open Avast Premium Security, then click Menu and select My Subscriptions.
  2. Click Activate next to Avast SecureLine VPN and Avast Cleanup Premium.
  3. If prompted, enter your System Administrator password and click OK.
  4. Your Avast Ultimate subscription is now active. You can check your subscription details on the My Subscriptions screen in Avast Premium Security.

Avast Account

To activate Avast Ultimate on your Windows PC using your Avast Account:

  1. Open Avast Premium Security, then click Menu and select My Subscriptions.
  2. Click Sign in to your Avast Account.
  3. Enter the credentials for your Avast Account that is linked to the email address you used to purchase Avast Ultimate, then click Sign In.
    Alternatively, select the Create Account tab to create a new Avast Account.
  4. Click Activate & Install next to Avast Cleanup and Avast SecureLine VPN.
  5. Avast Cleanup Premium and Avast SecureLine VPN start installing.
  6. If prompted, click Yes to restart your computer.
  7. Your Avast Ultimate subscription is now activated. You can check your subscription details on the My Subscriptions screen in Avast Premium Security.

Troubleshoot activation issues

If you experience any activation issues:

  1. Ensure you have correctly entered your activation code, including hyphens.
  2. If activation using your activation code still does not work, try following the instructions to activate using your Avast Account.
  3. Check that your Avast Account is registered to the email address that you used to purchased Avast Ultimate. If you used a different email address for purchase, you can add this email address to your Avast Account. For detailed instructions, refer to the following article:
