Uninstalling Avast AntiTrack

 
If you have a paid Avast AntiTrack Premium subscription, uninstalling the application does not automatically cancel your subscription. For information about canceling your subscription, refer to the following article: Canceling an Avast subscription - Frequently Asked Questions

Uninstall Avast AntiTrack

To uninstall Avast AntiTrack from a Windows device, select the relevant tab below according to your Windows version.

Uninstall via Start menu

To uninstall AntiTrack, follow the GIF or the steps below:

To follow the GIF, left-click your mouse when the orange circle appears and right-click your mouse when the blue circle appears.

  1. Right-click the Windows Start icon, then select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
  2. Ensure that Apps is selected in the left panel, then click ⋮ Options (three dots) next to Avast AntiTrack Premium and select Uninstall twice.
  3. If prompted for permission by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes.
  4. When AntiTrack Premium appears, click Uninstall.
  5. Optionally, tick the box next to Delete your personal Avast AntiTrack Premium data if you do not plan to reinstall AntiTrack Premium.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of AntiTrack Premium.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes AntiTrack Premium from your PC.
  7. When the confirmation message appears, click Done, or if prompted, click Restart computer to immediately reboot your PC and complete uninstallation.

To uninstall AntiTrack, follow the GIF or the steps below:

  1. Right-click the Windows Start icon, then select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
  2. Ensure that Apps & features is selected in the left panel, then click Avast AntiTrack Premium and select Uninstall twice.
  3. If prompted for permission by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes.
  4. When AntiTrack Premium appears, click Uninstall.
  5. Optionally untick the box next to Delete your personal Avast AntiTrack Premium data if you do not plan to reinstall AntiTrack Premium.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of AntiTrack Premium.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes AntiTrack Premium from your PC.
  7. When the confirmation message appears, click Done, or if prompted, click Restart computer to immediately reboot your PC and complete uninstallation.

To uninstall AntiTrack, follow the GIF or the steps below:

  1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and X key simultaneously.
  2. Select Programs and Features from the menu that appears.
  3. Right-click Avast AntiTrack Premium, then select Uninstall/Change from the drop-down menu.
  4. When AntiTrack Premium appears, click Uninstall.
  5. Optionally untick the box next to Delete your personal Avast AntiTrack Premium data if you do not plan to reinstall AntiTrack Premium.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of AntiTrack Premium.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes AntiTrack Premium from your PC.
  7. When the confirmation message appears, click Done, or if prompted, click Restart computer to immediately reboot your PC and complete uninstallation.

To uninstall AntiTrack, follow the GIF or the steps below:

  1. Click the Windows Start icon, then select Control Panel.
  2. Follow option A or option B below according to your view:
    • Option A (Default category view): Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
    • Option B (Large/small icons view): Click Programs and Features.
  3. Right-click Avast AntiTrack Premium, then select Uninstall from the drop-down menu.
  4. When AntiTrack Premium appears, click Uninstall.
  5. Optionally untick the box next to Delete your personal Avast AntiTrack Premium data if you do not plan to reinstall AntiTrack Premium.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of AntiTrack Premium.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes AntiTrack Premium from your PC.
  7. When the confirmation message appears, click Done, or if prompted, click Restart computer to immediately reboot your PC and complete uninstallation.

AntiTrack Premium is now uninstalled from your PC.

Moving Avast AntiTrack to the Trash or using Clean My Mac does not fully uninstall the application. We recommend following the steps below using the Avast AntiTrack Uninstaller.

Uninstall via Apple menu

  1. Open Avast AntiTrack, then click Avast AntiTrack in the Apple menu bar and select Uninstall....
  2. When the AntiTrack Uninstaller window appears, click Uninstall.
  3. If prompted, enter the password that you use when you start your Mac, then click Update Settings.
  4. Enter the password that you use when you start your Mac, then click OK.

AntiTrack is now uninstalled from your Mac.

To uninstall Avast AntiTrack from an Android device, follow the steps below according to your preferred method:

Uninstall via Google Play Store

  1. On the Home screen of your device, tap the Play Store icon to open Google Play Store.
  2. In the search bar, type Avast AntiTrack, then select Avast AntiTrack from the search results.
  3. Tap Uninstall, then Uninstall again to confirm uninstallation.

AntiTrack is now uninstalled from your Android device.

Uninstall via device settings

These steps may differ slightly depending on your device model, Android version, and vendor customizations.
  1. Open your device Settings and go to Apps.
  2. Select Avast AntiTrack.
  3. Tap Uninstall, then tap OK to confirm uninstallation.

AntiTrack is now uninstalled from your device.
