Uninstalling Avast AntiTrack

 
Uninstalling Avast AntiTrack does not automatically cancel your subscription. For information about canceling your subscription, refer to the following article: Canceling an Avast subscription - FAQs

Uninstall Avast AntiTrack

To uninstall Avast AntiTrack from a Windows device, select the relevant tab below according to your Windows version.

Uninstall via Start menu

To uninstall Avast AntiTrack, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click the Windows Start icon, then select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
  2. Ensure that Apps is selected in the left panel, then click ⋮ Options (three dots) next to Avast AntiTrack and select Uninstall twice.
  3. If prompted for permission by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes.
  4. When Avast AntiTrackappears, click Uninstall.
  5. Optionally, tick the box next to Delete your personal Avast AntiTrack data if you do not plan to reinstall Avast AntiTrack.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of Avast AntiTrack.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes Avast AntiTrackfrom your PC.
  7. When the confirmation message appears, click Done.

To uninstall Avast AntiTrack, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click the Windows Start icon, then select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
  2. Ensure that Apps & features is selected in the left panel, then click Avast AntiTrack and select Uninstall twice.
  3. If prompted for permission by the User Account Control dialog, click Yes.
  4. When Avast AntiTrack appears, click Uninstall.
  5. Optionally untick the box next to Delete your personal Avast AntiTrack data if you do not plan to reinstall Avast AntiTrack.

    Click Uninstall to start the uninstallation of Avast AntiTrack.
  6. Wait while the uninstaller removes Avast AntiTrack from your PC.
  7. When the confirmation message appears, click Done.

Avast AntiTrackis now uninstalled from your PC.

Moving Avast AntiTrack to the Trash or using Clean My Mac does not fully uninstall the application. We recommend following the steps below using the Avast AntiTrack Uninstaller.

Uninstall via Apple menu

  1. Open Avast AntiTrack, then click Avast AntiTrack in the Apple menu bar and select Uninstall....
  2. When the Avast AntiTrack Uninstaller window appears, click Uninstall.
  3. If prompted, enter the password that you use when you start your Mac, then click Update Settings.
  4. Enter the password that you use when you start your Mac, then click OK.

Avast AntiTrack is now uninstalled from your Mac.

To uninstall Avast AntiTrack from an Android device, follow the steps below according to your preferred method:

Uninstall via Google Play Store

  1. On the Home screen of your device, tap the Play Store icon to open Google Play Store.
  2. In the search bar, type Avast AntiTrack, then select Avast AntiTrack from the search results.
  3. Tap Uninstall, then Uninstall again to confirm uninstallation.

Avast AntiTrack is now uninstalled from your Android device.

Uninstall via device settings

These steps may differ slightly depending on your device model, Android version, and vendor customizations.
  1. Open your device Settings and go to Apps.
  2. Select Avast AntiTrack.
  3. Tap Uninstall, then tap OK to confirm uninstallation.

Avast AntiTrack is now uninstalled from your device.
