After you activate an Avast SecureLine VPN (Multi-Device) subscription on your first device, you can use device pairing to activate your subscription on additional devices (including on Android TV).
Before you can use device pairing, you must first activate Avast SecureLine VPN on at least one device using either your Avast Account or an activation code. For detailed instructions, refer to the following article:
Generate a pairing code
Refer to the relevant section below according to the new device that you want to activate:
- Ensure that the latest version of Avast SecureLine VPN is installed on your Android TV.
- On your Android TV, select
Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Apps ▸ Avast SecureLine VPN ▸ Open. - In Avast SecureLine VPN, select Settings in the top-right corner.
- Select Subscription.
- Select Already purchased?.
- Select Start pairing to generate a 6-digit pairing code.
- Follow the relevant instructions in the section below to enter your 6-digit pairing code on a desktop or mobile device where Avast SecureLine VPN is already active.

- Ensure that the latest version of Avast SecureLine VPN is installed on your PC.

- Select Start pairing to generate a 6-digit pairing code.
- Follow the relevant instructions in the section below to enter your 6-digit pairing code on another desktop or mobile device where Avast SecureLine VPN is already active.

Enter your pairing code
After generating a pairing code on the new device, enter this code on another mobile or desktop device where Avast SecureLine VPN is already active. Refer to the relevant section below according to the previously activated device:

☰Menu ▸ Preferences. - Select Pair devices ▸ Activate new device.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Pair devicesPair new device.
- Enter the 6-digit pairing code that you generated on the new device, then click Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit pairing code that you generated on the new device, then tap Continue.
- Click Okay.

Your Avast SecureLine VPN subscription is now active on the new device.
Troubleshoot pairing issues
If you experience any pairing issues:
- Ensure you have correctly entered the pairing code.
The pairing code refreshes every 15 minutes.
- Ensure you have a Multi-Device Avast SecureLine VPN subscription. You can verify this via the Avast Account that contains your Avast SecureLine VPN subscription, or in an order confirmation email.
- Ensure your Avast SecureLine VPN subscription is already activate on at least one device before you start pairing additional devices. For detailed activation instructions, refer to the following article:
