Activating Avast Mobile Security Premium

Avast Mobile Security is available as both a free and paid product. The paid product, Avast Mobile Security Premium, requires a subscription to use. After installing Avast Mobile Security, you need to activate your subscription using a valid activation code or your Avast Account.

Avast Mobile Security Premium subscriptions purchased via Google Play Store or the App Store are activated automatically on the device used to make the purchase and do not need to be manually activated.

Activation Code

To activate Avast Mobile Security Premium using an activation code:

  1. Tap the Avast Mobile Security icon on the Home screen of your device. The app opens.
  2. Tap Upgrade.
  3. Tap Options (three dots) ▸ Already purchased?.
  4. Select Redeem an activation code.
  5. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then tap Use this code.
  1. Tap the Avast Mobile Security icon on the Home screen of your device. The app opens.
  2. Tap UpgradeAlready purchased?.
  3. Select Enter Avast subscription code.
  4. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then tap OK.
  5. Tap OK.

Your Avast Mobile Security Premium subscription is now active.

Avast Account

To activate Avast Mobile Security Premium using your Avast Account:

  1. Tap the Avast Mobile Security icon on the Home screen of your device. The app opens.
  2. Tap Upgrade.
  3. Tap Options (three dots) ▸ Already purchased?.
  4. Select Restore from Avast Account.
  5. Select Email.
  6. Enter your Avast Account credentials, then tap Log in Avast Account.
  1. Tap the Avast Mobile Security icon on the Home screen of your device. The app opens.
  2. Tap UpgradeAlready purchased?.
  3. Select Sign in.
  4. Enter your Avast Account credentials, then tap Confirm.
  5. Tap OK.

Your Avast Mobile Security Premium subscription is now active.

Troubleshoot activation issues

If you experience any activation issues:

  1. Ensure you have correctly entered your activation code, including hyphens.
  2. If activation using your activation code still doesn't work, try following the instructions to activate using your Avast Account.
  3. Check that your Avast Account is registered to the email address that you used to purchase Avast Mobile Security Premium. If you used a different email address for purchase, you can add this email address to your Avast Account. For detailed instructions, refer to the following article:
