Sometimes scammers impersonate Avast
Sometimes, you may receive emails from scammers claiming to be from Avast. These messages may use the Avast name, logo, or other branding to appear legitimate. Do not rely only on the sender's display name. Always check the complete email address and inspect the links before taking action.

Approved Avast sender domains
You can use your browser's search function to check whether a sender domain appears in this list. Press Ctrl and F on Windows or ⌘ Command and F on Mac, then enter the domain you want to check. For example, if you received an email from noreply@example.avast.com, search for @example.avast.com.
You may receive legitimate Avast communications from the following domains:
- @avast.com
- @help2.avast.com
- @business.avast.com
- @emails.avast.com
- @email.avast.com
- @customer.avast.com
If the sender domain appears in this list, it is an approved Avast sender domain. However, if the email is unexpected or asks you to provide sensitive information, do not click links or open attachments. Verify the message by contacting Avast Support.

Report a suspicious email
If you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from Avast:
- Do not click links or open attachments.
- Do not reply or provide personal, account, or payment information.
- Forward the suspicious email as an attachment to spam@avast.com.
- Use your email provider's Report phishing or Mark as spam option.
- If you need help, go directly to Avast Support instead of using links in the email.
