Before you try to activate your Avast product again, we recommend first checking that your subscription is valid, and that the subscription is linked to your Avast Account.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Avast Account and click the Subscriptions tile.
  2. Verify that the subscription you want to activate appears on the My Subscriptions screen.
  3. If the subscription does not appear on the My Subscriptions screen, it is not linked to your Avast Account. In this case, we recommend manually linking the subscription to your Avast Account. For instructions, refer to the following article:
  4. If the subscription does appear on the My Subscriptions screen, check the Subscription status. You may see one of the following statuses:
    • Expired: Your subscription has expired. You need to purchase a new subscription before you can activate and use the product.
