Enabling JavaScript and cookies in your web browser

<p>When you make a purchase via the <a href="https://www.avast.com/store" target="_blank">Avast Store</a>, you may be notified that you need to enable <b>JavaScript</b> and / or <b>cookies</b> in your web browser. Reset your Avast Password Manager vault password

If you forget your vault password, Avast Password Manager allows you to reset it from your mobile device using biometric authentication.

You cannot reset your vault password from the Avast Password Manager browser extension. Mobile devices have a specially-designed secure hardware storage known as a secure enclave, which is highly resistant to unauthorized access. Avast makes use of this feature, along with biometric authentication, in the Avast Password Manager apps for Android and iOS to reset your vault password.

Instructions

To reset your vault password from your mobile device:

Tap the Avast Password Manager icon on the home screen of your device. The app opens.
Unlock your Avast Password Manager using biometric authentication.
Tap ☰ Menu (the three lines) ▸ Settings.
Select Reset vault password, then confirm your identity using biometric authentication.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new vault password, then tap Save.

Your vault password is reset.
