Over the coming months, devices running Android 8 will no longer receive any new app, service, or security updates for the following Avast apps:
- Avast One
- Avast Mobile Security
- Avast SecureLine VPN
- Avast Cleanup
- Avast Secure Browser
You can continue using the Avast apps on your device with Android 8. However, you will not be able to update the Avast apps to the newer releases that include app and service updates, and security fixes.
For the best app and service experience, we recommend that you update your Android version to 9 or later. Android 9 and later provide the system updates that allow us to deliver high-quality applications, services, and security for our customers.
