Connecting an Avast product with your Avast Account

An Avast Account is your personal Avast portal, where you can manage your paid Avast subscriptions. If you do not have an Avast Account, you can create one and connect it to an existing Avast subscription. If you want to connect an existing subscription to your Avast Account, follow the steps in this article.

As of July 2020, your Avast Account is automatically created with the same email address you used to purchase an Avast product. If you already have an Avast Account and do not remember your login details, or you want to create a new Avast Account, refer to the relevant article below:

Connect a product to your account

To connect Avast Premium Security with your Avast Account:

  1. Open the Avast Antivirus user interface, then click MenuSign In.
  2. Enter your Avast Account credentials, then click Sign In. Alternatively, click Facebook or Google to use your existing account credentials.
  3. Your paid subscriptions are displayed under Subscriptions on this PC.

Your subscription is now connected to your Avast Account.

To connect Avast Security for Mac with your Avast Account:

  1. Click GoApplications on the left side of the menu bar, and double-click the Avast icon to open the application.
  2. Click Menu and select Log in to Avast account.
  3. Enter your Avast Account credentials, then click Log In. Alternatively, click Facebook or Google to use these account credentials instead.
  4. Your paid subscriptions are displayed under Subscriptions on this Mac.

Your subscription is now connected to your Avast Account.
