Enabling and using One Touch Login in Avast Passwords

One Touch Login enables you to use your Android or iOS device to access and use Avast Passwords on your Windows PC without entering your Master Password each time.

Refer to the sections in this article for instructions to set up and use this feature.

One Touch Login is only available as a premium feature in paid Avast Passwords Premium. For more information, read the following article:

Enable One Touch Login on your PC and pair it with your mobile device

Before you enable One Touch Login, ensure you have completed the initial configuration of Avast Passwords on your PC. Then follow the steps below according to your mobile device.

  1. Open the Avast Antivirus user interface, go to SettingsPasswords and click Turn on in the One Touch Login section.
  2. Click Start now.
  3. Log into your Avast Account, if prompted.
  4. Click OK, I'm ready. A QR code appears. You will need to scan this QR code with your mobile device during a later step.
  5. Download and install Avast Passwords on your Android device from Google Play Store:
  6. Open Avast Passwords on your Android device , and follow these steps:
    1. Go to Settings and tap One Touch Login pairing.
    2. Tap Pair to start the process, then scan the QR code on your PC using your device camera.
    3. When a confirmation message appears on your device screen, tap Done to finish the process.
  7. Download install Avast Passwords on your iOS device from App Store:
  8. Open Avast Passwords on your iOS device , and follow these steps:
    1. Go to Settings and tap One Touch Login.
    2. Tap Scan QR code.
    3. Tap OK to grant Avast Passwords access to your device camera, then use it to scan the QR code on your PC.
    4. When a confirmation message appears on your device screen, tap Done to finish the process.

Once your PC and mobile device are paired, you can unlock Avast Passwords on your PC by using your paired mobile device instead of typing your Master Password.

Log into Avast Passwords on your PC using One Touch Login

After you have enabled One Touch Login on your PC and paired it with a mobile device, you can use your mobile device to log into and use Avast Passwords on your PC instead of typing your Master Password.

When the Avast Passwords login screen appears on your PC, you are given the option to type your Master Password or refer to the notification that automatically pops up on your paired mobile device.

To unlock Avast Passwords using your device, tap Unlock on the notification, or tap the notification to open the app, then tap Unlock on the Passwords screen.

To unlock Avast Passwords using your device, tap the notification to open the Passwords screen, then tap Allow.

Avast Passwords is unlocked on your PC.
