Avast Password Manager stores and manages your sensitive information. The Notes feature in Avast Password Manager stores information that you may want to refer to later. You can use Notes to save information such as meeting points, day-to-day work, and even the quotes that you like the most.
Add a note from your browser
To add a note from your browser to Avast Password Manager, follow the steps below:
- Open your browser.
- Launch the website from where you want to copy the note to the Avast Password Manager application.
- Right-click on the webpage and click Add to Notes.
- If you are signed in to Avast Password Manager, the note that you copied is pasted automatically in the Notes tab. If you are not signed in to Avast Password Manager, sign in using your Avast login credentials. The note that you copied is pasted automatically in the Notes tab.
- Click Save.
The note is added to Avast Password Manager.
Add a note from Avast Password Manager extension
To add a note in Avast Password Manager, follow the steps below:
- Open your browser.
- Click the Avast Password Manager extension on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Sign in to your vault.
- Click the Avast Password Manager extension and click Open Web App.
- In the Password Manager screen that appears, tap Notes and then tap the Plus icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Add the required note and click Save.
The note is added to Avast Password Manager.
Edit or delete a note from Avast Password Manager extension
To edit or delete a note in Avast Password Manager, follow the steps below:
- Open your browser that contains Avast Password Manager.
- Click the Avast Password Manager icon in the top-right corner of the browser.
- In the pop-up window, continue with one of the following options:
- Option A: If you are signed in to your Avast account, click Unlock vault.
- Option B: If you are not signed in to your Avast account, click Sign in and sign in with your Avast account credentials.
- In the Unlock your vault window, type your vault password and click Unlock.
- Click the Avast Password Manager extension icon and click Open Web App.
- Click the Notes tab and do one of the following:
- To edit a note, hover the mouse over the note that you want to edit, and click the Edit icon. In the window that appears, make the required changes and click Save.
- To delete a note, hover the mouse over the note that you want to delete, and click the Delete icon. In the Are you sure? window, click Delete.
The changes are applied.
