You may experience the Something went wrong error when the Avast SecureLine VPN browser extension fails to communicate with the Avast SecureLine VPN app.

Uninstall the Avast SecureLine VPN browser extension
To uninstall the Avast SecureLine VPN browser extension, follow the relevant instructions for your browser below:
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome.
- In the top-right corner of the browser, click the Extensions icon and select Manage extensions.
- Under SecureLine VPN, click Remove.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click Remove.
The Avast SecureLine VPN browser extension is uninstalled.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- In the top-right corner of the browser, click the Extensions icon and select Manage extensions.
- Under SecureLine VPN, click Remove.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click Remove.
The Avast SecureLine VPN browser extension is uninstalled.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- In the top-right corner of the browser, click the Extensions icon and select Manage extensions.
- Next to Avast SecureLine VPN, click
⋮More options (the three dots) icon and click Remove. - In the pop-up window that appears, click Remove.
The Avast SecureLine VPN browser extension is uninstalled.
