Enabling JavaScript and cookies in your web browser

Avast SafePrice Firefox and Opera Discontinuation - FAQs

We have ended support of our Avast SafePrice browser extension for Mozilla Firefox and Opera. The extension has been removed from the Firefox and Opera's add-ons stores.

Can I continue to use Avast SafePrice on other supported browsers?

Yes. Avast SafePrice will no longer be available for Mozilla Firefox and Opera, but you can use its features on other supported browsers.

What will happen to my Avast SafePrice extension on Mozilla Firefox and Opera?

The Avast SafePrice extension should have already self-uninstalled itself on your Mozilla Firefox and Opera browsers. You can also manually uninstall the extension by following the steps below:

Open Firefox and go to ☰ Menu ▸ Add-ons and themes.
Next to Avast SafePrice, click … More options (three dots).
Select Remove, then click Remove again to confirm.

Open Opera and go to O the Opera icon in the top-left corner of the browser, and select Extensions ▸ Extensions.
Ensure All is selected in the top menu.
Click X (the cross icon) in the top-right corner of the Avast SafePrice tile. Click Remove to confirm.
