- "You're offline. Please connect to the internet to use VPN." for Avast SecureLine VPN on a Windows device.

- "Oops! Avast VPN has encountered a technical issue. Network transaction failed." for Avast SecureLine VPN on Mac.

This usually indicates that you may be using an older version of the application. To resolve the issue, refer to the steps below.
Restart your device
Restarting your device can proceed with pending updates and often resolve the issue.
- Save your work, then restart your device.
- After the restart, open Avast SecureLine VPN and try to connect again.
