What languages will be available in the Avast Management Console?

When I transfer to Avast Business products, will my license expiration date and seats stay the same?
Yes. When you transfer to Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus, you will receive your new Avast license number that will be valid for the same duration and seats as your old Norman license number.
 
Will I be sent an email with my new license details after transferring?
Yes. When you have completed the transfer process, you will receive an email from Avast with your Avast Business license number details.
Also, during the transfer wizard, you will be presented with your new Avast Business license number details.
 
Will my Norman Endpoint Management Console be replaced with the Avast Management Console during the transfer?
In theory, yes. The Avast Management Console is meant to replace the Norman Endpoint Management (NEM) Console; however, this console won’t be uninstalled during the transfer. You will need to manually uninstall the Norman Endpoint Management Console after you have fully transferred to Avast.
 
What product settings are transferred during the transfer?
Norman Network Topology export will be carried out. This means that device name data, network settings data, and other data will be exported and imported into the Avast Management Console.
Antivirus settings that you have set in NEM or in the client will not be carried over.
 
What happens if my transfer fails?
If your transfer fails, you will be prompted with notifications via the Avast Management Console that some devices could not be installed.
If you do not have the Avast Management Console installed, devices that failed to transfer will be presented with a failed installation notification on the device itself.
 
Once I transfer to Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus, can I downgrade to the Antivirus or Antivirus Pro versions?
Yes. When you are due to renew your license number, you can downgrade to Antivirus or Antivirus Pro versions if you wish.
 
Once I transfer, what will happen with my Norman Endpoint Protection license number?
Once you have confirmed that you want to transfer to Avast Business products, your Norman Endpoint Protection license number will be deactivated after 90 days from the Avast license number issue date (the date when you confirmed to transfer). After 90 days your Norman Endpoint Protection license number will not function, so it is recommended that you transfer to Avast Business within the 90 days.
 
Can I use my Norman Endpoint Protection license and Avast license at the same time?
Yes, you can. Just remember that once you have confirmed your transfer to Avast, your Norman Endpoint Protection license will expire based on the expiration date. This gives you time to start the product migration to Avast Business products.
 
Will my antivirus exclude list be transferred during the transfer to Avast products?
No. Whether you have the Avast Management Console installed or not, no antivirus exclude lists will be exported or transferred from Norman Endpoint Management/Protection to your new Avast Business product.
 
Will I need to uninstall Norman Endpoint Protection with Exchange Server manually?
Yes. It is recommended that you download the Avast installation file and install manually to your Exchange Server as it will require you to restart the Exchange Store once the installation has been completed.

I’m on a closed network and do not have access to the internet. Will Avast Business products work in closed networks?
No. An internet connection is required  to download the virus definition files and program updates. Also, some of the components, like CyberCapture, require an internet connection.

I have more than one Norman Endpoint Management Console installed on my network, what should I do?
If you have more than one instance of Norman Endpoint Management Console installed on the same network, you will need to install the Avast Management Console to one of those devices with a Norman Endpoint Management instance.
Avast will replace Norman Endpoint Protection clients across the whole network and link back to the Avast Management Console even if some devices were reporting back to a different NEM Console.
