What is Avast SafePrice?
Avast SafePrice is a free browser extension that helps you save money in online shops and travel sites. Avast SafePrice selects the best prices from a database of trusted e-shops and displays them in the top right corner of your browser so you don't have to leave your shopping site. It also searches for coupons that can be applied to your purchase and notifies you if one is found.
How do I get Avast SafePrice?
How do I use Avast SafePrice?
When installed and enabled, Avast SafePrice works automatically in the background. Avast SafePrice shows pop-up notifications when better prices or coupons are available for your search. Click on the notification to learn more about the offer, which will open on your current page.
To use a coupon offer, click Apply coupon within the notification. It will open a new tab where the coupon is applied, and a notification appears to confirm the process. The coupon will then apply savings to your shopping cart.
To use a coupon code, click Get code and copy the code (highlight and press the Ctrl
and C
keys simultaneously). At checkout, paste the code (press the Ctrl
and V
keys simultaneously) into the field for a discount code.
How do I enable/disable the Avast SafePrice browser extension?

Can I customize the notifications I receive for Avast SafePrice?
Yes, you can select under which circumstances notifications appear and for which websites Avast SafePrice actively searches for offers and coupons.
- Click the Avast SafePrice icon in the top-right corner of your browser, then select Options.
- Select Notifications in the left panel.
- Configure the notification settings according to your preferences.
How can I make Avast SafePrice notifications less obtrusive?
You can close an individual notification by clicking the X icon in the notification window. You can still see all Avast SafePrice offers by clicking the Avast SafePrice icon in the top-right corner of your browser.

I found a much lower price in another e-shop, why was it not included in the Avast SafePrice results?
Avast SafePrice does its best to provide a broad range of offers, and constantly works to increase the number of supported shops. There can be several reasons why a particular e-shop is not among the provided offers:
- A lower price was not found.
- The product has an extended delivery period or is not in stock.
- The product could not be identified.
- The e-shop is not a part of the supported sites.
How does Avast SafePrice select which offers to show?
Avast SafePrice does its best to provide a broad range of offers. Avast is partnered with over 100,000 e-shops globally and is continuously working to increase the coverage of supported shops.
Currently, our database includes offers from major vendors in the following categories:
- Shopping
- Travel and accommodation
- Home security
- Health insurance
- Mortgages
Offers and coupons are selected from a supported list of vendors, for products that match your search and are in stock.
Can I add my own shop to the Avast SafePrice list?
There is currently no application process to have your shop verified and added to the supported sites. However, we may offer this option in the future.
Can I exclude certain websites from searching?
Yes. To ensure that Avast SafePrice does not search for offers or coupons when you visit a certain website:
- Right-click the Avast SafePrice icon in the top-right corner of your browser, then select Options.
- Select Custom list in the left panel.
- Click Add site and enter the URL of the website you want to exclude from searching (for example,
www.examplestore.com
), then click Add.
The website appears on your Custom list.
How can I control which data I share with Avast when I use Avast SafePrice?
To configure your Avast SafePrice privacy settings:
- Right-click the Avast SafePrice icon in the top-right corner of your browser, then select Options.
- Select Privacy in the left panel.
- Untick Allow analysis of product performance and data usage for new product development to opt-out of data sharing.
Your privacy settings are now configured.
What if there is a problem with a product I ordered from an Avast SafePrice recommendation?
While you shop, we inform you of cheaper offers among trusted e-shops. If there is a problem, we recommend that you contact the merchant directly for exchange, return, or refund procedures. When you purchase the product, the transaction is carried out through the merchant and not processed by Avast. Therefore, you should contact the merchant to resolve any issues regarding the order.
Why does Avast SafePrice show me offers that are not identical to my search?
Avast SafePrice aims to find better offers for the product you are searching. If your product specifications are not found, you may notice slight differences between the product you are searching for and the product that Avast SafePrice offers. This can also happen if the merchant does not provide correct product specifications. We recommend that you check the product offered before finalizing your purchase to ensure that the product meets your requirements.
Does Avast SafePrice collect any data about which e-shops I visit and what products I search?
The purpose of Avast SafePrice is to select the best prices and coupons from a database of trusted e-shops and to display them while you shop. To display these offers, Avast SafePrice first collects anonymous data about pages and products visited. Keeping your privacy safe is very important to us, and the data collected is not connected to your personal data.
