Creating an Avast Account using your email address

1. Go to your Avast account sign in screen using the link: https://login.avast.com/sso/embedded/update
2. Click Create an Avast account.  
3. Type in your email address, password, and other information, click Create Account.
   Email addresses with Unicode characters are not accepted. Password is case-sensitive and must be 8 characters or above in length that should at least contain upper and lower case letters, one number, and one symbol.
4. Check your email inbox for the one-time passcode from Avast.
5. Enter the passcode and click Verify.
6. In the Your email address has been verified window, click Continue.

Creating an Avast Account using your Apple ID

1. Go to https://login.avast.com/sso/embedded/update
2. Click Create an Avast account.
3. Click Sign in with Apple and sign in to your Apple account.
4. Enter the two-factor authentication code that you received.
5. If prompted, click Trust to avoid entering two-factor codes again on this browser unless you sign out completely or change your password.
6. In the Sign In with Apple window, click Create and connect.
7. Do one of the following:
   • Select Share My Email to show your Apple ID email address while signing in to your account and click Continue. Your new account is successfully created. You see your Apple ID email address if you have chosen Share My Email.
   • Select Hide My Email to hide your Apple ID email address and display a unique, random address instead of on your account and click Continue. Your new account is successfully created. If you have chosen Hide My Email option, you see a unique, random address.
8. If you want to set a password for your account, in the Account Settings page, next to Email and password, click Create your Avast account password.

Creating an Avast Account using your Google email

1. Go to https://login.avast.com/sso/embedded/update
2. Click Create an Avast account.
3. Click Sign in with Google and sign in to your Google account.
4. If you have multiple Google accounts, in the Choose an account to continue to Avast window, select the account that you want to use to sign up.
5. In the Create a new Avast account window, click Create and connect.
6. In the Your accounts are connected window, click Done. Your new account is successfully created and linked to Google.
7. If you want to set a Norton password for your account, do the following:
   • In the Account Settings page, next to Email and password, click Create your Norton account password.
   • Enter your new password and confirm the changes.

Creating an Avast Account using your Facebook

1. Go to https://login.avast.com/sso/embedded/update
2. Click Create an Avast account.
3. Click Sign in with Facebook and sign in to your Facebook account.
4. In the Avast Software is requesting access to window, click Continue.
5. In the Create a new Avast account window, click Create and connect.
6. In the Your accounts are connected window, click Done. Your new account is successfully created and linked to Facebook.
7. If you want to set a Norton password for your account, do the following:
   • In the Account Settings page, next to Email and password, click Create your Norton account password.
   • Enter your new password and confirm the changes.
