You can report a spam or scam email to Avast to help us improve our products. We have seen an increase in subscription renewal scams where identity thieves send fake emails in hopes you will click on a malicious link.

Select one of the following options to submit spam or scam email samples:

Submit from a web-based email client

1. Open your email client.
2. Right-click on the spam or scam email message and select Forward as Attachment from the drop-down menu.
3. In the To field, type spam@avast.com.
4. In the Subject field, include the case number provided by the Avast Support agent if you have one.
5. Click Send.

Drag and drop the email

1. Open your email client.
2. Create a new, blank email message addressed to spam@avast.com.
3. Drag and drop the spam or scam email into the new message. The spam or scam email message is automatically saved as an attachment in the new message.
4. In the Subject field, include the case number provided by the Avast Support agent if you have one.
5. Click Send.

Submit from a mobile device

1. Open your email client.
2. Open the spam or scam email.
3. Tap ⋮ Options (the three dots) to Forward the email.
4. In the To field, type spam@avast.com.
5. In the Subject field, include the case number provided by the Avast Support agent if you have one.
6. Click Send.
