Web Guard in Avast One helps protect you by displaying a warning when you accidentally visit an unsafe website on your iOS device.
On devices running iOS 27 or later, when you accidentally open an unsafe website, Web Guard in Avast One will display a warning; however, the website may continue to load.
This problem can occur when:
- Your iOS device runs iOS 27 or later.
- Connectivity Assist is turned on.
- Your iOS device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
To fix this problem, turn off Connectivity Assist.
If Wi-Fi Assist was enabled before you updated to iOS 27, Connectivity Assist is enabled by default.
Turn off Connectivity Assist
To turn off Connectivity Assist:
- Open Settings on your iOS device.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Scroll down and switch the Connectivity Assist slider to off.
Connectivity Assist is now turned off.
When Connectivity Assist is turned off, your iOS device does not use mobile data to improve a slow Wi-Fi connection.
