There are two methods to change the Avast PIN for Anti-Theft:
- Avast Mobile Security allows you to change your PIN directly during verification using your Google Account credentials.
- Avast Account allows you to change your PIN remotely from any device using a web browser.
Change your Avast PIN
To change your Avast PIN via Google Account:
- When you are prompted in Avast Mobile Security to type your current PIN, tap the menu icon and select Reset PIN.
- You are redirected to the Google Account login page. Tap Next to confirm your e-mail address.
- Type your password for Google Account, and tap Next.
- Type your new PIN and retype it to confirm changes.
To change your Avast PIN via Avast Account:
- Log into your Avast Account and select your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the Anti-Theft tab.
- Type your new PIN twice, and confirm changes by clicking Save.
Your new Avast PIN is configured.
