What is Avast Cleanup Premium?
Avast Cleanup Premium is an optimization tool that includes a range of scans that are designed to detect unnecessary items and performance issues, helping to free up disk space and improve the speed of your system.
How will Avast Cleanup Premium help improve the performance of my device?
With frequent use, the reliability and performance of your Mac begins to decline. You may notice the following issues:
- Applications that run very slowly, crash, or freeze.
- A lack of disk space.

- Problems while starting your Mac.

What are the differences between Avast One and the standalone Avast Cleanup Premium?
Avast Cleanup Premium is a standalone app designed to clean and optimize Mac performance. Avast One is an all-in-one app that provides a single interface for Avast security, privacy, and performance features. Through Avast One, users can access functionality such as Cleanup, Antivirus, and VPN. Some features are available for free, while access to premium features depends on the subscription(s) you purchased.

How can I download and install Avast Cleanup Premium?
For detailed installation and activation instructions, refer to the following articles:
Why is Avast Cleanup Premium being installed through the Avast One app?
Avast is bringing its Mac products, such as Cleanup, Antivirus, VPN, together into a single app called Avast One. This allows you to access and manage all your Avast apps from a single interface, eliminating the need to switch between individual apps. When you download Avast Cleanup from http://avast.com/, the installer now installs Avast One and enables Cleanup functionality within that app, rather than installing a separate standalone Avast Cleanup app.
If you already have an Avast Cleanup Premium subscription, your features, subscription, and activation details are preserved, and if you had standalone Avast Cleanup Premium app installed, Avast One replaces it and carries your subscription over automatically. If you prefer to continue using the standalone version of Avast Cleanup Premium app, you can still download and install it separately.

If you prefer to use the standalone Avast Cleanup Premium app instead of Avast One, refer to the following article: How to switch from Avast One to a standalone app.
