Managing subscriptions via your Avast Account

An Avast Account is your personal Avast portal, where you can manage your paid Avast subscriptions.

The following options are available via the My Subscriptions screen:

  • Cancel a continuous Avast subscription
  • Retrieve the valid activation code for a paid subscription
  • Download the latest version of a purchased product

Retrieve subscription details

You can view the details for your subscriptions using the Avast Account portal.

  1. Log in to your Avast Account, then click Subscriptions.
  2. For each subscription you can check the following details:
      1. Duration of the subscription
      2. Number of devices eligible to activate
      3. Subscription status
      4. Expiration date
      5. Activation code
  3. Click Copy to Clipboard, then paste the activation code directly into an Avast product to activate it, or under Install on your devices, download and install the latest product version directly to your device.

Add another email to your account

You can manually connect an existing subscription to your Avast Account, even if the Avast Account is registered to a different email address than the one used to make the purchase.

To manually connect a paid Avast subscription to your Avast Account:

  1. Log in to your Avast Account, click your account name in the top-right corner, and select Account settings.
  2. Under Email management, click + Add another email.
  3. Enter the new email address, then click Add.
  4. Check your email inbox and open the email from Avast with the subject: Please verify your email address and click the Verify Email button.
  5. Your newly added email is now verified. If the status is not updated, refresh the web page in your browser, or log in to your Avast Account again.

All your Avast subscriptions are now visible in your Avast Account under My Subscriptions.

Cancel a subscription

  1. Log in to your Avast Account, then click Subscriptions.
  2. Click Unsubscribe under the relevant subscription.
  3. Select Unsubscribe from future renewals and let my subscription expire on MM/DD/YYYY, then click Confirm.
  4. Click Got It.

Your subscription is now canceled.

The unsubscribe option is managed separately for each subscription. If you have more than one Avast subscription, repeat the steps above for each subscription you want to cancel.
