Infinite reboot loop of PC, or antivirus malfunction, could appear after installation of Google Pack with avast! Free Antivirus 5.0 .

This situation could occurs if avast! 4.8.1296 (or previous versions) hasn‘t been fully or properly uninstalled at first.

To solve this behavior please follow these instructions:

1. Completely uninstall Google Pack with avast! Free Antivirus 5.0 via 'Programs and Features' applet which is accessible in 'Control Panel' (or via 'Add or Remove Programs' applet under Windows Operating Systems released prior Windows Vista).
   
   
2. Reboot your PC to safe mode according to instructions on Microsoft web pages:
   Windows 2000 | Windows XP | Windows Vista | Windows 7
   
   
3. Create the following folder (if doesn’t exist):
   C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\
   
   
4. Uninstall all records of previous version with 'avast! Uninstall utility'.
   
   
5. Reboot PC.
   
   
6. Install again Google Pack with avast! Free Antivirus 5.0 .
